§ 16.5-15. Term of office.

(a)

Quorum. At any meeting of the city tree board, a quorum shall consist of three members from the city council. No action shall be taken in the absence of a quorum.

(b)

Meetings. The city tree board shall meet as needed and determined by city council and may be included as part of the city council agenda as an agenda item.

(c)

Board officers. The chairman of the city tree board shall be the mayor ex officio from the city council. The board may create and fill such other offices as it may determine.

(d)

Administrative officer. The city manager or his designee shall have the responsibility of providing administrative guidance in carrying out the activities of the city tree board.

(e)

Other operations. The city council acting as the city tree board may develop guidelines to help recommend standards and specifications as deemed necessary in determining its forestry plan.
