§ 2-87. Established; appointment, term, etc., of directors.

(a)

There is hereby established a general services department. The director of this department shall be appointed by the city manager for an indefinite term, serving at will, and subject to removal by the city manager for the good of the service. The director shall report to the assistant city manager of administration.

(b)

There is hereby established a streets and stormwater department. The director of this department shall be appointed by the city manager for an indefinite term, serving at will, and subject to removal by the city manager for the good of the service. The director shall report to the assistant city manager of operations.

(c)

There is hereby established a utilities department. The director of this department shall be appointed by the city manager for an indefinite term, serving at will, and subject to removal by the city manager for the good of the service. The director shall report to the assistant city manager of operations.
